I have some drawings I want to post, but scanning them hasn’t made it to the top of my list yet.
This is a different project, where I’m trying to teach myself how to weld. Today’s project was trying to get wires welded onto things. I turns out that an additional complication to this is that you can light the wire on fire or accidentally cut it very easily. This started out simply as an exercise piece, but I kinda like how it looks. It could be an interesting project to build a larger one of these.

It’s funny. In doing this I ended right back up in “I should really finish this” instead of “I like doing this, and so I will”

A little explanation of the Jeniffers. Jeniffer Snodgers cropped up in the first strip I even did, and eventually became my favorite character.
At some point in this I took to doing small silly strips in my sketchbook where she wasn’t as angsty all the time. Eventually, this evolved into it’s own thing and character, which gave us Jeniffer Imari.
Meanwhile I was also developing a horror story line for my original strip. For whatever reason this idea mutated and took over my passion for what I wanted to do, becoming it’s own strip as well, with a couple of the original cast getting mutated and dragged along for the ride. This including Jeniffer, now Jeniffer Singer.
They originally all still had the same name, but that made any conversation involving more than one take forever, since I would keep having to specify which strip the one I was currently talking about came from.

The last few days have been interesting art wise. I have something like 150 sheets of paper left over from another project because I only needed 100 of them, and they came in packs of 50 or 250, and one 250 sheet pack was less than two 50 sheet packs. The paper’s better than my printer paper, but worse than what I generally do comics on.
It turns out trying to do some comics on it that my favorite ink does not always play nice with this paper, and sometimes bleeds. I have a lot of different inks sitting around though so I found one that doesn’t do that. But it turns out that the ink doesn’t play nice with my pens, and so the adventure continues.

This is continuing off of this comic.
If for some reason it’s not clear from the strip itself, Jeniffer is the one who stole Jeniffer’s name.

I’m not sure this makes any sense even if you know the relevant background, which almost no one does. I still like it though, which is a step up from where I was.
-
Going to call this done. It’s not the best thing I’ve ever done, but it got me back in the comic writing mood.
-
Continuing still, probably done soon.
-

I’m skirting unreadability here.

Continuing project

Doing a little experiment for the next couple days.
